Kohina Ichimatsu's cup noodle filled days as a self-proclaimed doll come to halt when she decides to play Kokkuri-san! The fox ghost she summons plans on making a lot of unwanted changes in her life and doesn't plan on leaving anytime soon.

Kokkuri-san helps Kohina make progress in leading a normal life but Inugami disrupts the household even more.

Inugami is proving to be more difficult to live with than Kohina and Kokkuri-san originally thought, but Kohina may have uncovered the secret to taming the out of control ghost dog.

Kokkuri-san must protect Kohina from the misfortune the tanuki ghost Shigaraki brings.

Kohina can't find peace and quiet anywhere and now finds herself the victim of bullying.

To the dismay of Kokkuri-san, Kohina can now see spirits and, after befriending one, Shigaraki agrees to keep her secret.
