Young-gyu, who runs a branch of a fried chicken brand, struggles with his business due to stringent policies from the headquarters. But his situation only starts to get worse.

Seul-hye returns to South Korea with her husband Wang-dae and her mother-in-law Hae-mi. A few days after her return, Yeong-gyu suddenly disappears without a trace.

Hae-mi gets flustered when Hyun-jin corrects her English. Hyun-kyung, a bright, positive woman, follows Yeong-gyu to make him feel more supported.
