In this six-part crime drama, following the death of her estranged daughter, DCI Colette Cunningham not only becomes responsible for her grandchildren, but also becomes involved in the investigation into her daughter's murder.

Detective Investigator Colette Cunningham takes an unexpected call from Dublin, during which she learns that a body has been and she is listed as the deceased's next of kin; shortly after, she hops on the next ferry to Dublin to go identify the body.

Colette heads to the hospital where Stacey worked, hoping to learn more about her daughter by speaking to the people who knew her best; as Colette begins to form an image of who her daughter was and how she lived, something does not quite add up.

A visit from Organized Crime confirms Colette's suspicions that there's more to Stacey's death than suicide; tracing the few clues she has, Colette pieces together fragments that point to one specific person's involvement.

After a charged confrontation, Colette is all but convinced that Stacey was murdered, but she lacks the evidence to back it up; Siobhán and Colette's case develops from a simple theft to something far more sinister that's not as easy to resolve.
