Ah Young pretends to be tough, but she lacks tenacity and doesn’t achieve much. If she had just raised her practice exam score by a single percent, she would have gotten into Myeongseong University. But that didn’t work out, so she has to repeat the college exam instead. Her father always dreams of driving a private taxi, but he sells the cab to fund Ah Young’s studies, which upsets her mother. Unfortunately, Ah Young falls short of getting accepted again. But when her father asks if she got the exam results, she says yes. Her father hugs her so happy that she unwittingly becomes trapped in a lie about being accepted into university. Her cousin Jeong Eun, who did get into Myeongseong University, finds out about the lie but promises to keep quiet if Ah Young attends class in her absence. Ah Young accepts the proposition and becomes a fake freshman.
