New Fist of the North Star is a three-episode (OAV) mini-series based on the 1996 Hokuto no Ken novel Jubaku no Machi and produced by OB planning. Water is in high demand due to toxicity from apocalyptic war, except for a small supply in a reservoir. A group of villagers happen across some safe water and Sanga wants it. With a fortified zone that he has so named "The Lastland," Sanga will stop at nothing to get the water. However, Kenshiro, appears from no where and will do anything to keep Sanga from overtaking the water supply. Through the use of a deadly form of martial arts known as Hokuto Shinken, which allows Kenshiro to kill his opponents through utilizing the bodies vital points, usually ending in a violent and brutal death. Sanga's men will be no match for Kenshiro. Kenshiro has dedicated his life to fighting oppressors and Sanga will be no different.
