The Eden House is a unique place for singles: when they arrive, all residents must speak to each other informally, doing without most of the honorifics used in everyday Korean language and culture, and house rules prevent residents from learning much about their housemates’ backgrounds, aiming to make it difficult to form any sort of hierarchy.
