A Good Supper

Gyung Soo’s father shows up one day with a little girl, Young Shin, and leaves her with his son. Young Shin adapts to her new surroundings. Sook Jung takes charge of “Royal Palace” after marrying the owner of the restaurant. Min Gyung is unhappy to have her as an older sister-in-law.

Gyung Soo has decided to keep Young Shin. He tells her that she’s going to school, and Young Shin jumps in joy. As Young Shin and Da Jung become good friends, Da Jung invites her to the house and throws a birthday party for Young Shin. Min Gyung presents Sook Jung with herbal medicine, which will help her get pregnant, but Sook Jung throws it away.

Oh Bok wants to be friends with Jung Hoon, but Jung Hoon tries to avoid him. Young Shin asks Gyung Soo to play a game with her on the field day, and he decides to be there for her. Meanwhile, Sook Jung persuades her husband, explaining why she threw the herbal medicine away.

Young Shin and her friends have a great time on the school field day, sharing food and taking pictures. When Young Shin whispers a secret to Se Jin, everything starts to go downhill. Min Gyung can’t stand how Sook Jung is treating her, acting like she’s her boss. Meanwhile, Jung Hoon comes to school in the cold without a jacket. Wan Soo calls Gyung Chul to school.

Gyung Soo makes sweet and sour chicken, and Young Shin invites Da Jung over to her house. Oh Bok tells Young Shin about the presents they could get from church on Christmas, so the four kids visit the church together. Sook Jung meets an old lady at the market who asks her about her old son, and Min Gyung is puzzled.

Young Shin and her friends go sledding on the mountain. After the sun sets, it quickly gets dark and cold. Oh Bok goes down the mountain to get the adults. Jung Hoon doesn’t like how his father is telling that Jung Hoon and he are liking the countryside. The next morning, Gyung Soo can’t wake up from the fever. Young Shin runs to Da Jung’s for help.
