Bruce Glover

Character actor Bruce Glover has portrayed a number of rough, intimidating bad guys throughout his career. Most notably he played Mr. Wint, half of the homosexual henchman team of Wint and Kidd in the James Bond movie "Diamonds are Forever." Before the role as Wint, Glover had worked on a number of popular television shows of the '60s, like the adventure series "Route 66" and the comedy seriess "The Good Guys." He followed with a role as deputy Grady Coker in the vigilante action film "Walking Tall" and as Duffy in Roman Polanski's 1974 noir-masterpiece, "Chinatown," with Jack Nicholson. After the 1975 action sequel "Walking Tall Part II" failed to score at the box office Glover returned to television, landing supporting roles mainly in crime dramas like "S.W.A.T.," although he did also dabble in comedy ("The Facts of Life") and sci-fi ("Battlestar Galactica"). Like any successful character actor, Glover always kept his options open and his schedule full. In 2001 he made a cameo in Terry Zwigoff's pop-culture comedy, "Ghost World." Throughout the rest of the decade he appeared mostly in small-budget and independent films. In 2010, Glover starred in the action comedy "Six Days in Paradise." He has also taught acting classes since 1995.
