Wyatt Oleff

With his breakout role as the young Peter Quill in the blockbuster hit "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014), Wyatt Oleff became a known quantity in Hollywood at the age of only eleven. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Oleff was excited about performing for others by the time he was five years old. He first broke into professional acting in commercials, memorably playing a boy fighting with his imaginary friend over a bag of chips for a 2012 Super Bowl commercial. Later that same year, Oleff made his first TV series appearance in an episode of veterinary sitcom "Animal Practice" (NBC, 2012-13), and in 2013, he worked with a dialect coach to perfect a Scottish accent so that he could play the young Rumplestiltskin in an episode of the fairy-tale themed series "Once Upon a Time" (ABC, 2011-). Indeed, Oleff took his craft so seriously that when a tearful scene came up in "Guardians of the Galaxy," he summoned painful memories of his own dog passing away in order to channel the emotion. Oleff would play young Peter again in the movie's sequel, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" (2017), and joined the young ensemble cast of the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's horror classic "It" (2017).
