Michael Chernus

Michael Chernus was an actor who was familiar with the qualities it takes to bring a drama to the big screen. Chernus's career began by acting in comedies like the Carrie Preston film "Lovely By Surprise" (2007), "Feed the Fish" (2009) with Tony Shalhoub and Barry Corbin and "Love and Other Drugs" (2010) with Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Mercy" (NBC, 2009-2010). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the 2010s, appearing in the James Badge Dale drama "Nonames" (2012), the Will Smith smash hit sci-fi sequel "Men in Black 3" (2012) and the Jeremy Renner smash hit action film "The Bourne Legacy" (2012). He also appeared in the Juno Temple fantastical drama "Jack and Diane" (2012). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Alex of Venice" (2015), "Aloha" (2015) and "Glass Chin" (2015). He also appeared in "Mistress America" (2015) with Greta Gerwig and "People, Places & Things" (2015) with Jemaine Clement. Most recently, Chernus acted in the dramatic biopic "The Most Hated Woman in America" (2017) with Melissa Leo.
