S1, E2: Upon Horemheb's demise, Paramessou ascended to the throne of Egypt, under the name of Ramsses I, his rule proved to be brief. A mere 17 months after acceding to the throne, his son Seti succeeded him as the new pharaoh, taking on the name Seti I.
