Maggie Feller is blonde, feckless and shallow, and her sister Rose, a top-notch lawyer who is insecure in her personal life. The pair reluctantly share Rose's apartment until Maggie sleeps with the man Rose hoped would be her boyfriend. Thrown out, Maggie discovers the existence of their maternal grandmother, Ella, who they didn't know existed, and moves in with her in her Florida retirement complex.
