James Harris

James Larnell "Shack" Harris is an American former professional football player and executive. He played as a quarterback in the American Football League and the National Football League with the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, and San Diego Chargers. In 1969, Harris became the first Black quarterback to start a season opener for the either the AFL or NFL, and in 1974, he became the first Black quarterback to start an NFL playoff game.
