Adeel Akhtar

English actor Adeel Akhtar made a name for himself on the big screen. Akhtar's early roles were in comedies like "Four Lions" (2010) with Kevin Eldon and the Sacha Baron Cohen film "The Dictator" (2012). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011) and "Trollied" (Sky 1, 2010-). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the 2010s, appearing in the Ray Panthaki comedy "Convenience" (2015) and the Hugh Jackman action film "Pan" (2015). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Utopia" (Channel 4, 2013-14). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "The Night Manager" (2016). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "The Tunnel" (PBS, 2016-) and "Apple Tree Yard" (BBC 1, 2016-). Most recently, Akhtar acted in the Judi Dench dramatic adaptation "Victoria & Abdul" (2017).
