Marshall and Lily worry that Lily will never fall pregnant. To allay their fears, the couple visit a specialist who bears an uncanny resemblance to Barney.
Combing through the past makes Earl think of number 87 on his list, "chased away Mum and Dad's friends", so he and Randy visit their parents to bring back their old friends. However, they soon realise that back then a lot more was going on than children's eyes can see.
Earl scratches number 56 off his list when he must return a prize-winning cat back to its owner after sabotaging a cat show in Joy's favour. Meanwhile, Randy forms an attraction with the cat's owner.
Earl's list of misdeeds grows when Joy makes it very clear that he's not welcome at her wedding to Darnell, scheduling it for his birthday so that no one can celebrate with him. This leaves him with just one possible course of action.
Earl decides to cross number one off his list: Stole $10 from a guy at Camden market. He runs into major problems though when he realises that he now owes him much more than the initial $10.
