Cha Moosik, who comes from an impoverished childhood, finds his life taking a turn when his hometown friend, Ahn Chiyoung, suggests they start a gambling business. Moosik acquires an old bar and begins his path into gambling.

Cha Moosik learns that the National Tax Service is cracking down on the casino bar. Ahn Chiyoung is captured, but Moosik flees to the Philippines. After arriving, Moosik loses all his money at a casino, and borrows money from Sanggu.

Cha Moosik joins Min Seokjun and enters the casino business. He cleans up his tax issues, and meets with Kang Minjung to negotiate the reduction of additional fines. Moosik is instructed by Min Seokjun to collect bonds that are ten years overdue.

Moosik gains full authority over the casino and earns sixty billion won over ten years.

Cha Moosik works on Jung Sukwoo, who lets his guard down. Professor Na finds a new financier.

Oh Seunghoon of the Korean Desk is dispatched by the Korean government, and arrives in the Philippines. Seunghoon meets his partner, Mark, at the CIDG, and is briefed on the situation in the Philippines.
