If It's Tuesday, It's Murder

MONDAY. We meet our diverse group of travelers on their way to Lisbon; the bus hasn’t even left the station, and we can already sense that something isn´t quite right. A mix of anxiety, confusion, doubts and excitement runs through the tourists. We discover Fabio, Pura, Alicia, and Daniel, their shared love of crime and mystery stories, and how they tend to drift apart from the group. However, their stay in Lisbon quickly takes a turn for the worse when the hotel they had booked is unavailable, forcing them all into El Marqués, a run-down, decaying hotel on the verge of collapse. The next day, TUESDAY, Fernando is found dead in his room. His death and the mysterious disappearance of a music box brings the four of them together to begin a long investigation.

On Wednesday, the police tags the case a natural death; Daniel, obsessed with the clues that keep emerging, pushes Inspector Gonçalo and the police to their limits; Alicia follows Fabio, but at the centre of it all is the deceased Fernando.

Our four investigators are one step ahead of the police, and as they piece together Fernando's story, they begin to draw connections between key historical moments in Lisbon and everything happening around them.

FRIDAY. The four investigators try to ease their anxiety and rejoin the dynamics of the tour group, but they fail and quickly uncover new clues that point toward a suspect: Nicolau. While Pura and Alicia follow him closely, Inspector Gonçalo Mendes singles out Fabio as a suspect, and the atmosphere grows tense.Daniel, the cleverest of the group, begins slipping away from his mother’s strict supervision and continues investigating the treasure. He discovers that the Cross of Portugal appears to be a key element, but incredibly, Nicolau gets ahead of him. Pura and Alicia try to stop him and everything spirals into persecution, nerves and a mounting tension. A new crime, the police once again at the Hotel Marqués and everyone becomes a suspect again.

On Saturday, the trip turns tragic, three people dead, several suspects and the Portuguese police are stationed at the Hotel Marques in search of answers; just when tempers begin to settle, Daniel and Pilar come face to face with danger.

On Sunday, Daniel is still missing, and everyone looks for him; Alicia, Pura and Fabio must confront their secrets and their past, some of which will even find their way to Lisbon; Inspector Gonçalo announces who is responsible for Nicolau's murder.
