Actress Anne Winters was born in Dallas, TX and attended the Prestonwood Christian Academy. After moving to Los Angeles, CA in hopes of pursuing her acting career, Winters made her big-screen debut in "In My Pocket" (2009). The movie was an independent film that was well received at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and the 2011 Terra di Siena Film Festival. Winters's debut on the small screen came a little earlier when she played Beth in the TV movie "Summer Camp" in 2010. Following "In My Pocket", Winters was cast as Kelsey in "The Fosters" (ABC Family 2013-), a series about life with two lesbian mothers and their biological and adoptive children. In 2014 Winters starred in the movie "Sand Castles" as a young woman who was kidnapped and returns mute after a decade to her family in rural Indiana. That same year, Winters played the role of Emma Al-Fayeed in the drama series "Tyrant" (FX 2014-16). Winters next played the lead in a thriller called "The Bride He Bought Online" (Lifetime 2015), about a group of girls who create a fake dating profile and use it to provoke a lonely, isolated man. She was also cast as the daughter of an LAPD officer searching for a serial killer in "Wicked City" (ABC 2015)
