Karen Shallo

Karen Shallo was a prolific actress who created a name for herself largely on the big screen. Shallo's early roles were in comedies like "Over the Brooklyn Bridge" (1984) with Elliott Gould, "Garbo Talks" (1984) with Anne Bancroft and "Spike of Bensonhurst" (1988). She also appeared in the TV movie "A Case of Deadly Force" (CBS, 1985-86). She continued to act in productions like "Mortal Thoughts" (1991), "School Ties" (1992) with Brendan Fraser and the period drama "Two Bits" (1995) with Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio. More recently, she continued to act in the Amanda Schull drama "Center Stage" (2000), the comedic drama "Last Ball" (2001) with Charlie Hofheimer and the Nathan Lane comedy adaptation "The Producers" (2005). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). Most recently, Shallo acted on "Blue Bloods" (CBS, 2010-).
