Vicellous Reon Shannon began his entertainment career as a 15-year-old child actor. Shannon's career began with roles in "L.A. Law" (1986-1994), "Roc" (Fox, 1990-94) and "Crime & Punishment" (NBC, 1992-93). He also appeared in "Sirens" (1992-95). He also appeared in the TV movie "Mantis" (Fox, 1993-94). In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Shannon held acting roles in films like the Emilio Estevez action flick "D2: The Mighty Ducks" (1994). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Zooman" (Showtime, 1994-95). In the nineties, he worked on the silver screen, taking roles in "Senseless" (1998) with Marlon Wayans and the comedic drama "Can't Hardly Wait" (1998) with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Shannon also appeared in "Dancing in September" (2001) with Nicole Ari Parker, the dramatic adaptation "Hart's War" (2002) with Bruce Willis and "Annapolis" (2006). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015) and "Bones" (Fox, 2005-). Shannon most recently acted on "The Mentalist" (CBS, 2008-2015).
