Suzhal: The Vortex

It's the first day of the Mayana Kollai festival, but a factory fire causes panic; everyone rushes to put out the fire; as Sakkarai begins to investigate the cause of the fire, vital evidence emerges.

The factory managers calculate the damage caused by the fire; when she realizes that Nila's case is genuine, Regina takes action; Sakkarai gathers clues from Nila's room, takes her laptop and asks her mother for information.

Shanmugam and her family members confront Regina and Vadivelu about their son, Adhisayam, being the suspected stalker; the confrontation takes place at Malar's house, where the air is tense.

Sakkarai and Nandini arrive just in time to clear up the misunderstanding; Nila and Adhisayam's families gather at Regina's home; they listen to voice messages on Adhisayam's phone from a folder titled "Nila."

The quarry lake is dark with only bundles of artificial light; Sakkarai looks shattered as he swims up to an entwined teenage couple, Adhisayam and Nila; Sakkarai sees Nila's backpack stuck in the tendrils and picks it up.
