After leaving their engagement party, Chloe and Jimmy are abducted by a psychotic jeweler. Once emotionally scarred by his wife's infidelity, the jeweler now kidnaps couples and subjects them to a kryptonite-enhanced lie detector that will shock them if they lie. Chloe is asked if she is in love with anyonMeanwhile, in an effort to find Chloe and Jimmy, Clark and Lois pose as a couple -- as such, they are then kidnapped and asked how they feel about each other.

Dr. Walden wakes up from his coma and tells Lex and Lionel that Clark is an alien; Chloe finds out Clark and Lana are together.

The crews work to contain a dangerous forest fire and save a group of environmentalists protesting a housing development.
