In order to get her own car, Sue gets a job at a mall eatery; Mike and Frankie learn that Brick hasn't been attending any classes; Axl spends nights at home to avoid his horrible roommate.

Frankie and Mike run into old acquaintances; Sue gets several dates to the prom; Brick gets Axl's help for a book report.

Frankie is forced to take a job at Heritage Village, which requires her to work on Thanksgiving; Sue hopes to run into Logan during her holiday break; Axl becomes emotional about how his life has turned out.

Frankie and Mike's date night is ruined when both fall asleep; Axl and Brick try to invent the next big thing; Sue is invited to the prom by a handsome store greeter but has to figure out a way to leave work early in order to go.

Frankie decides that April is not good enough to be with Axl and does anything she can to keep her out of the annual family Christmas photo. Frankie must fight for Axl's attention when he announces that he will be spending Thanksgiving with April.

On his 21st birthday, Axl refuses to come home and help Mike move a freezer; Brick cops a bad attitude with Frankie; Sue receives a job offer.
