David Bauer

David Bauer has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Bauer began his acting career with roles in such films as the Robert Mitchum dramatic adaptation "The Man in the Middle" (1964), the thrilling adaptation "The Spy Who Came in From the Cold" (1965) with Richard Burton and the Richard Johnson crime flick "Danger Route" (1967). He also appeared in "The Double Man" (1967) with Yul Brynner, "Inspector Clouseau" (1968) and the Telly Savalas comedy "Crooks and Coronets" (1969). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing in the Robert Shaw adaptation "The Royal Hunt of the Sun" (1969), "Patton" (1970) and the drama "Tropic of Cancer" (1970) with Rip Torn. He also appeared in the Alexandra Hay drama "1,000 Convicts and a Woman" (1971) and the romance "Endless Night" (1972) with Hayley Mills. Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Under Fire: The Real Story" (ABC, 1988-89). Bauer most recently appeared on "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2008" (TNT, 2007-08).
