The Men

Bud Wilozek is a paralysed WWII veteran. Rehabilitating in the paraplegic ward, his fiancée Ellen begs him to marry her and he agrees, only to find himself unable to consummate the marriage. Frustrated, he returns to the hospital and the care of Dr Eugene Brock who helps him overcome both his mental and physical frustrations in this powerful film that tackles what was, at the time, an almost taboo subject.
