While investigating the death of a lawyer who appeared to have been killed by a wild animal, Sam and Dean realize they are actually tracking a werewolf. When it seems as if the lawyer's secretary, Madison (Emmanuelle Vaugier), will be the werewolf's next victim, Sam--who is immediately attracted to Madison--offers to stay overnight to protect her. Dean heads out to hunt the animal and is stunned by what he finds.

Alan worries that Charlie's womanizing is out of control. Jane Lynch returns as Charlie's therapist, and Emmanuelle Vaugier returns as Charlie's former fiancée, Mia.

Lucas, Nathan, Jake and the rest of the Raven basketball players are in for an eventful evening when they take part in the annual `Boy Toy' charity auction.

Lucas faces a difficult decision when he finds out that Brooke is pregnant. Meanwhile, Haley considers sex with Nathan, Keith wants more from his relationship with Karen, and Dan tries to get runaway Nathan to return home.

Unable to cope with the pressure from Dan, Nathan quits the basketball team. Although Haley fears that Nathan will not need her emotional support as much now, he relies even more heavily on her. Meanwhile, Brooke becomes increasingly jealous of Lucas and Peyton's growing friendship.

Nathan is faced with a tough decision when he must decide which parent to live with after Dan and Deb's divorce, but Dan resorts to emotional blackmail by threatening to expose Deb's darkest secrets in court.
