Larry is put off when the woman he's dating, Heidi, puts a smiley face in a text message. Later, Larry falls out with Heidi because he believes that he shouldn't now have to offer his condolences for her father's death, which occurred two years previously. Meanwhile, Jeff's alibi to get out of a dinner backfires.
