Hairstyle: The Talent Show

Contestants use their talent to create a freestyle look. The only limit is their own creative ability. This challenge will be their introduction to the judges and audience of HairStyle USA.

Episode two brings a new challenge: designing a male style. Nick Stenson, SVP of Ulta Beauty and founder of Nick Stenson Beauty will drop by the salon to share tips with the contestants.

The first challenge is to style in the most important and critical setting: bridal. The brides know exactly what they want when they enter the salon. They will choose their stylist, who will talk with them to work on the vision.

The contestants take on a new adventure, working on curly and textured hair. Each visitor to the salon knows exactly what style they want done, and the contestants must replicate the picture shown to them as accurately as possible.

Not every client is hard to please, but for contestants' safety, it's imperative the clients of the salon leave happy. They will listen to their models and find out what they want, in order to carry out their wishes as closely as possible.

The four finalists on `HairStyle' have proven that they have the talent and skill to become great hairstylists. But there can only be one winner. To be that winner, the finalists must undertake their two challenges.
