Five recent university graduates, Harper Stern, Yasmin Kara-Hanani, Robert Spearing, Gus Sackey and Hari Dhar, all aim to make their mark on the world by proving their worth and becoming permanent hires at the bank. But for one of them, it all proves to be too much.

Harper tries to find her footing in London, Pierpoint throws an appreciation dinner, and Harper confronts Kenny.

When Pierpoint loses a major client, the grads face their most challenging test, and Harper juggles conflicting requests.

After a wild birthday celebration, Harper makes a mistake that ends up putting her entire team in jeopardy.

Tired of being an outlier on the desk, Yasmin sets up a meet with her family friend Maxim, who's setting up a new fund. Impressed with her work, Wyndham asks her to put Maxim in touch with Kenny. When Eric goes away on a management visit off-site, he sets Harper the task of winning back Felim's business.

Daria picks up on the awkward tension between Harper and Eric and insists Harper sticks close to her through the Christmas party. Yasmin is tasked with getting Maxim to come to the Christmas party, and Greg is in a particularly unstable state after being embarrassed by Eric in front of the entire team.
