Man from Shaolin

When Li Bao (martial arts master Li Zhang) learns from New York Social Services that a relative has unexpectedly died, he rushes to the Big Apple to become guardian to her young orphan daughter, Janie. There, "Uncle Li", a 32nd-generation Shaolin Fighting Monk, meets up with a former student who convinces him to open a traditional kung fu school. But his plans for a new life in a new world collide with those of a brutal promoter and his skilled young fighter. Now, Li must choose to flee the city or stand and fight for Janie and his dream in this powerful mixed martial arts.
