Shadow

SHADOW tells the story of the Pei Kingdom's fight to reclaim the City of Jing. The young King of Pei (by Zheng Kai) is a wild ruler who cowardly avoids a war with the more powerful rival kingdom; while his physically ailing Commander (by Deng Chao), who has gone into hiding, conspires to retake their homeland. With the collusion of his wife (by Sun Li), the Commander has been training his "shadow" puppet Jing (by Deng Chao) to take his place in a duel with the opposing general, which will decide the fate of the city...   The "shadow" must wrest control of his destiny, or risks being swallowed up by the inexorable forces of history...
