Terra Formars

Based on the multiple volume manga series that's sold almost nine million copies (and counting), this live-action, sci-fi action adventure is set in the year 2599, centuries after scientists have decided to terraform Mars using moss and cockroaches. When a pioneering team of astronauts visit the planet in advance of its human colonization, they're shocked to discover that the cockroaches have rapidly evolved into humanoid creatures with superhuman strengths. Annihilated by the mutant bugs, the crew manages to send a final transmission back to Earth. Now, humanity will send a squad of elite warriors to exterminate the pests and take back Mars!
