Winter Journey

Martin Goldsmith never knew what happened to his parents before they fled Germany in 1941. Both were gifted musicians who, after 1935, could only perform in the Jewish Cultural Federation, a propaganda organization controlled by the Nazis. Through archival footage and re-enacted conversations with his father, played by Bruno Ganz in his final role, their story comes to life.
