After finishing an exam, college student Jun Sang Won (Lee Ki Woo) happens to run into his ex-girlfriend Choi Young Shil (Uhm Ji Won). Over dinner and drinks, the two rekindle their old flame, and subsequently make a pact to kill themselves together, both disillusioned with the way life has gone for them. The short film strikes a chord with recent film school graduate Kim Dong Soo (Kim Sang Kyung), who sees part of his own life reflected in the screen. Coincidentally, the film was made by one of Dong Soo's mentors, and a series of coincidences allow him to meet actress Young Shil in person. Immediately obsessed with her, Dong Soo goes to great lengths to integrate himself into Young Shil's life, imitating parts of the film in the hopes that he can reenact the movie in his own life. What will become of Dong Soo's ill-advised quest?
