S1, E1: Bajan-born cricketer Jofra Archer, the 26-year-old global hero, is back home on an extended break after having surgery. Elan Mottley and her family are part of the island’s high society, which includes the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley. Elan is looking into selling the family property in the heart of Sandy Lane. We meet British chef and author Sophie Michell and her family, who recently moved from London to the Caribbean and co-own one of the newest restaurants on the island. On the west coast of the Island, Neysha Soodeen, ex-magazine publisher, speaks about her transition from publishing into the environmental space and throws a fundraiser to raise money for a local charity with her co-trustee Ben Goldsmith. She calls on in-demand photographer Junior Sealy to help promote the fundraiser. Alison Hinds, queen of soca and an international musician who blazed the trail for Bajans like Rihanna, flies the flag for Barbados as a cultural ambassador.
