Felix Bressart was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Bressart began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Ninotchka" (1939) with Greta Garbo, the Don Ameche musical drama "Swanee River" (1939) and "Edison, the Man" (1940) with Spencer Tracy. He also appeared in "It All Came True" (1940), the comedy "Comrade X" (1940) with Clark Gable and the comedy "Third Finger, Left Hand" (1940) with Myrna Loy. His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "Blossoms in the Dust" (1941), "Married Bachelor" (1941) and "Kathleen" (1941). He also appeared in the dramatic musical "Ziegfeld Girl" (1941) with James Stewart. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the comedy "Three Hearts For Julia" (1943) with Ann Sothern, "Blonde Fever" (1944) and the Robert Taylor romance "Song of Russia" (1944). He also appeared in "The Seventh Cross" (1944) and "Greenwich Village" (1944). Bressart last acted in the Jennifer Jones romance "Portrait of Jennie" (1948). Bressart passed away in March 1949 at the age of 57.
