The Truth on Sendai City
The story unfolds over three episodes, each told through the eyes of one of the three protagonists. Each perspective offers a parable that reveals different facets of life in Sendai City — a sprawling metropolis ruled by the Great Brain, a constantly expanding entity that feeds on the emotions of its slaves: living beings from a parallel, underground world. The city's social order rests on three core principles: Order, Well-being, and Security. Everything in Sendai reflects this ideology, creating the illusion of perpetual — and deadly — peace. Even the elections, pitting Lukas Von Spieldorf against the enigmatic Prince, seem like mere formalities to decide who will serve as the right hand of the eternal creator. But beneath the ash that clouds the minds of Sendai’s citizens, rebellion stirs. A group of mutants, supported by the old Yakuza families that once ruled the city, resists the regime that erases individuality through cybernization — the process of fusing individuals into the indistinguishable mass of society. Leading the armed resistance is Syan, a seductive mutant with sapphire-colored skin.
