Jennifer Taylor

A native of Florida, Taylor found that her sharp features and exotic good looks made her the prime target of modeling agents as a teenager. She began appearing in beauty contests throughout the Sunshine State, eventually going on to be the first runner up at the 1995 and 1996 Miss Florida USA contests. By the late '90s, however, the allure of Hollywood proved to be too enticing, and Taylor promptly moved to Los Angeles with the hopes of becoming a professional actress. She quickly scored a manager, and began landing roles in big-budget studios films, including small parts in the goofball Adam Sandler comedy "The Waterboy," as well as the sexy thriller "Wild Things." Taylor drifted towards TV guest spots throughout the early to mid-2000s, having appeared on episodes of "Yes, Dear" (CBS, 2000-06), "Arliss" (HBO, 1996-2002) and "Ghost Whisperer" (CBS, 2005-10), as well as three separate roles on Chuck Lorre's "Two and a Half Men." However, by 2008, Taylor's career had stalled, and she contemplated moving back to Florida to teach acting. But as luck would have it, a few weeks later she received a phone call from the show's producers, who wanted to cast her as Charlie Sheen's newest lady friend, Chelsea. Taylor's comfortable presence on screen meshed well with Sheen's comedic sensibilities, and by the start of the seventh season in 2009 she was bumped up to a series regular. Her character was written off "Two and a Half Men" in 2011, shortly after Sheen's widely publicized meltdown, but that didn't stop Taylor from acting. In 2012 she landed a recurring spot on "Burn Notice" (USA, 2007-2013), while also appearing in the 2013 made-for-TV movie "The Perfect Boyfriend" (Lifetime).
