My Beloved Stranger

Riku Kanbayashi (Kento Nakajima) dreams of becoming a famous novelist, and Minami Maezon (milet) wants to become a singer-songwriter. When they meet at university, they fall in love and marry soon after. As they grow older, they continue to pursue their goals, but with very mixed results. While Riku rises to the pinnacle of the literary world, becoming a bestselling writer, Minami’s career fails to take off. Minami begins to feel a gap opening up between them, as Riku’s star continues to brighten. But one day, Riku wakes up to discover his world has turned upside down. He's retained all of his memories, but has become a lowly editor at a publishing company – and he's never published a single novel. In contrast, Minami has become a chart-topping singer. And worse still, she now has no idea who he is! Can Riku win Minami’s heart all over again, or is this unhappy new reality here to stay? This film was based on the 2019 French-Belgian movie "Love at Second Sight."
