Arto Halonen

Arto Tapio Halonen is a Finnish film director, screenwriter and producer who has directed documentary and fiction films, animations, and theatre. His best-known documentary films include Karmapa – Two Ways of Divinity, Shadow of the Holy Book, When Heroes Lie and White Rage. Halonen's best-known fiction films include Princess, The Guardian Angel and After Us, the Flood. Princess was a commercial success and attracted over 300,000 cinema viewers in Finland.
