Blake Lee

Born in Miami, Florida, Blake Lee moved to Los Angeles to become a professional actor but initially ahd trouble landing parts. Nearing the end of his rope, a lifeline came in the form of "Parks & Recreation" (NBC, 2009-2015). Lee premiered on the show in 2009, performing in seven episodes of the series as Derek, the gay boyfriend of April, played by Aubrey Plaza. Exposure on the hit series didn't lead to instant success. Lee performed a supporting role on an episode of "Friends With Benefits" (NBC, 2011), his only credited part until 2014 when he landed his first series regular role on the show "Mixology" (ABC, 2014). Created by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, writers of "The Hangover" (2009) and its sequels, the show followed a group of guys and a group of girls as they try to find meaningful connections over the course of one night. It ended after one season. In 2017, Lee joined the cast of "Wisdom of the Crowd" (CBS, 2017-) starring Jeremy Piven and Monica Potter.
