Richard Nance

Richard Nance was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Secret She Carried" (NBC, 1996-97). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Walker, Texas Ranger" (CBS, 1992-2001). He additionally was featured in the miniseries "Larry McMurtry's Streets of Laredo" (1995-96) and "Rough Riders" (1996-97). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Two For Texas" (TNT, 1997-98). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the Robert Duvall drama "The Apostle" (1997) and the Sandra Bullock comedic drama "Hope Floats" (1998). Nance also created music for "The Iron Giant" (1999). More recently, he tackled roles in the Natalie Portman dramatic adaptation "Where the Heart Is" (2000), "Friday Night Lights" (2004) and the action movie "The Alamo" (2004) with Dennis Quaid. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Wildfire" (Freeform, 2004-08). Most recently, Nance worked on "The Cassidy Kids" (2008) with Kadeem Hardison.
