Nuria siente envidia porque Paulina está por terminar la universidad y su relación con Adrián va viento en popa. Adrián le pide matrimonio a Paulina, pero Julieta dice frente a todos que no permitirá que se case con ella, pues Gonzalo asesinó a su padre.

Gonzalo le exige a Paulina que termine su relación con Adrián, ella se niega y se escapa para verlo en la playa, donde acepta su propuesta de matrimonio. Gonzalo le exige a Adrián que se aleje de Paulina y lo corre de su oficina. Julieta ataca a Paulina.

Karen tells Adrian and Jaime that Julieta tried to strangle Paulina. Adrian leaves Julieta's house. Adrian tells Paulina that he wants to marry her and live away from their families. Julieta tries to commit suicide because Adrian abandoned her.

Nuria asks Camilo for help to separate Adrian and Paulina, but he refuses. Gonzalo gives Paulina an ultimatum to end her relationship with Adrian. But Adrian and Paulina are willing to have a secret relationship so that Gonzalo does not denounce Julieta.

Edgar signs the papers to give Mauricio to Gonzalo and Ines up for adoption. Adrian tries to convince Julieta to go to a psychiatrist, but she refuses. Nuria plans to get rid of Mauricio because she doesn't want him to live in her house.

Adrian confesses to Julieta that he is going to work at Playa Linda and she loses her temper. Paulina tells Camilo that she will marry Adrian very soon. Edgar asks Gonzalo for more money so that he can return Mauricio to the Murat mansion.
