Episode 1

Carmelo threatens Santiago to sign the sale of his lands. Isabella arrives in Mexico City in the company of her parents and is reunited with Rafael and David, her childhood friends. Santiago and Fernanda celebrate their wedding, but suffer a tragedy.

Fernanda is abused by the murderer of her husband and while trying to flee from him, Carmelo shoots her and she falls into the river. Meanwhile, Candela seduces Luis while his wife goes shopping. Luis and Juana find Fernanda's body and treat her wounds.

Fernanda buries Santiago. Octavio begins his revenge against German. Isabella and Rafael start dating and visit the ranch. Luis and Juanita advise Fernanda to go to her house, and she returns only to see her father die in her arms.

Rigoberto finds out that Isabela will marry Rafael despite the relationship she has with him. Rafael hits Fernanda thinking that she is a thief.

Rafael tries to apologize to Fernanda for believing she was a thief. She beats him and demands that he never speak to her again. Julia is furious when she learns that German sold his entire fortune.
