Tim Kelleher

Born in the Bronx and raised on Staten Island, Kelleher was a standout football player in grammar school and high school. After graduating from Villanova University, he briefly studied with the Society of Jesuits in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., before returning to New York City to pursue a career as an actor. It was in his hometown that Kelleher and his friends would launch the Colony Theater, a local playhouse designed to spotlight the works of new and emerging playwrights. Just as interested in writing as he was in acting, Keller premiered three of his plays at the Colony, which subsequently landed him an agent. Over the next several years, Kelleher shuffled back and forth between New York and Los Angeles, as his acting career quickly began to build steam. By the mid-'90s, Kelleher had landed guest spots on the science-fiction shows "SeaQuest 2032" (NBC, 1993-96) and "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (Syndication, 1987-1994), before landing a recurring role as the villainous Jim Steele on NBC's short-lived conspiracy-based series "Dark Skies" (1996-97). He continued landing parts in both movies and TV - sometimes several a year - including a role as J.F.K.'s longtime aide, Ted Sorensen, in the 2000 historical film "Thirteen Days," as well a recurring part as Special Agent Christopher Pacci on CBS's popular naval drama "NCIS." In 2011, Kelleher added film documentarian to his credits, having wrote and directed "The Creed: What Christians Profess, and Why It Ought to Matter." The film was released in cooperation with the faith-based publication First Things magazine, where Kelleher also served as New Media Editor.
