Dharmendra Deol

Dharmendra was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Dharmendra began his acting career with roles in such films as "Boy Friend" (1961) with Shammi Kapoor, "Bandini" (1963) and "Aaye Din Bahar Ke" (1966). He also appeared in "Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi" (1966), "Mamta" (1966) and "Majhli Didi" (1967). His film career continued throughout the seventies and the early 2000s in productions like the drama "Sholay" (1975) with Amitabh Bachchan, "Shalimar" (1978) and "Aankhen" (1979). He also appeared in "Aas Paas" (1981) and "Apne" (2007). More recently, he continued to act in "Johnny Gaddaar" (2007), "Life in a Metro" (2007) with Shiney Ahuja and the foreign "Om Shanti Om" (2007) with Deepika Padukone. He also appeared in "Yamla Pagla Deewana" (2011), "Yamla Pagla Deewana 2" (2013) and "Double Di Trouble" (2014). Most recently, Dharmendra acted in "Second Hand Husband" (2015).
