Riley Griffiths

A young American actor, Riley Griffiths was born and raised in small-town Utah. While still in elementary school, Griffiths began acting in local stage productions after working on a scene from William Shakespeare's magical comedy "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Portraying the comical character of Bottom, Griffiths realized his love of performing and soon pursued more theater gigs, working his way up to a professional role in another Shakespeare play, "The Merry Wives of Windsor." Eventually, Griffiths acquired an agent and managed to win a key role in an upcoming top-secret film project involving J.J. Abrams (as writer and director) and cinema legend Steven Spielberg (as producer). The production turned out to be "Super 8," a mysterious sci-fi thriller set during the 1970s, about an aspiring filmmaker named Charles Kaznyk, played by Griffiths, convinces his friends to star in a zombie movie that he's directing. After a strange accident collides with their movie shoot, Charles and his companions are pulled into a fantastical adventure. Griffiths garnered considerable attention for his amiable turn as Charles, even scoring a nomination for the 2011 Teen Choice Awards. Following the film's release, the youthful actor began considering other offers, with the hopes of continuing his big-screen career.
