Antonia Thomas

Best known for playing the super-powered Alisha on E4's sci-fi drama "Misfits," rising English starlet Antonia Thomas always knew she wanted to act. At fourteen, she enrolled in the National Youth Music Theatre, which led to her receiving a degree in acting from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2009. The concept of pursuing a professional life as a performer is always daunting, and Thomas switched gears after completing her theater degree and began studying art at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. But when she was offered the opportunity to study Fine Art Painting at the Chelsea College of Art, she realized that she thrived in the collaborative atmosphere of theater and chased after her dream of being an actress. Her decision paid off quickly, as she joined the cast of the hit series "Misfits" in 2009 as Alisha, a young girl with the strange ability to turn anyone into a sexual maniac at the touch of her skin. In between seasons of "Misfits," Thomas appeared in the dramatic 2010 television movie "Stanley Park" and the harrowing mini-series "The Deep," about a crew of researchers on a submarine who must fight to survive while studying the Arctic Circle.
