Uwe Boll

Uwe Boll is a German filmmaker. He has directed more than 30 films during a four-decade career, coming to prominence for his adaptations of video games. Beginning his career in Germany in 1991, Boll moved to Canada during the 2000s. Boll's first major release was the 2003 adaptation of House of the Dead, which was followed by film versions of Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne, In the Name of the King, and Postal between 2005 and 2007.
