Bella Heathcote

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Bella Heathcote's film career started in her early 20s, but was at first rather focused on Australian cinema only, appearing in the horror movie "Acolytes" (2008) and featuring in a handful of episodes of the soap opera "Neighbours" (1985-). Her American breakout was courtesy of Tim Burton, as the famed director cast her alongside Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer in the revamp of the the horror comedy "Dark Shadows" (2012). Heathcote appeared in a variety of Hollywood films over the next few years, including roles gothically adjacent to her work on "Dark Shadows" such as an appearance in "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" (2016) and "The Neon Demon" (2016) as well more traditional fare like the Hugh Grant romantic comedy "The Rewrite" (2014). After appearing in a number of episodes of "The Man in the High Castle" (Amazon 2015-), Heathcote took on a pair of notable roles in 2017 as the romantic foil in "Fifty Shades Darker" (2017) and one of the titular women in the Wonder Woman creator biopic "Professor Marston and the Wonder Women" (2017). In 2018, she starred as Susan Parsons in "Strange Angel" (CBS All Access 2018-).
